3 Things You Don’t Know About Your Disney Vacation Planner

Today, August 12th, is a special day. 3 years ago today, I became a Disney vacation planner with Middle of the Magic Travel. And life has never been the same since! In honor of 3 years of having the BEST job in the whole world, here are 3 things that you don’t know about me, your Disney vacation planner!

  1. I have a wealth of first-hand knowledge. I have about 50 visits to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland under my belt. I have visited on adult-only trips, I got married at Walt Disney World, I honeymooned there, I have visited while pregnant, with infants, and now with toddlers and young children. I have also visited alone several times (and believe me, it’s glorious!). Anyone can sell you a Disney ticket or hotel room. I can tell you specifics that others can’t- because I have been there, done that, eaten that and made that mistake so you don’t have to. I continue to visit several times a year, and every visit, I always make it a point to see, do and eat all the newest things, so I can provide you with the most accurate information.  And if I haven’t tried it, I know someone who has. I have access to a very experienced group of fellow agents, all of whom travel to Walt Disney World and beyond often- and a few even live right in Mickey’s backyard! If I don’t know the answer myself, I know someone who does- and I will get the correct info for you.
  2. I love the thrill of the hunt. I get a rush when I book that hard-to-get dining reservation, a super popular FastPass, or find an awesome discount to save a client money. I know what makes a great Disney trip, and I get a little thrill every time one of those puzzle pieces falls perfectly into place. And if it doesn’t, I know plenty of alternatives to make your trip as memorable and hassle-free as possible.
  3. I have a local, small, female-owned business. I work for myself. I am the one answering the phone, replying to emails, and taking care of it all. I am also a stay-at-home mom of 2 little girls, and this business helps me provide for my family. When you book with Disney, a commission is already built into the price you pay. Disney keeps that money. BUT, when you book with me, that commission goes to me instead. You pay the same price either way, but when you book with me, you are supporting a small, local and female-owned business! (Plus getting the benefit of my knowledge, experience, and personalized services.)

So, here’s to 3 years of making magical memories for my clients, and to many more years to come! I look forward to getting to know you better, and helping create the perfect Disney vacation for YOU. Feel free to contact me any time.
