Ready to Head to the Disney Theme Parks? You’ll Need This First!

Walt Disney World has added its fair share of pre-planning over the years. From Advanced Dining Reservations to FastPass+, to My Disney Experience and Mobile Ordering, the Disney vacation planning experience has definitely added a lot of digital tools to help you make the most of your vacation time!

And now they’ve added a new one: Disney Park Pass! The latest must-have Disney reservation is a pre-arrival reservation for one of its four theme parks- Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom- that you choose in advance. These reservations are opening this week, and I’ve got all the details for you.

In order to get a Park Pass reservation, first you’ll need theme park tickets, valid for the date you want to visit. For guests who currently have a Walt Disney World vacation package that includes a hotel room and tickets, your Park Pass reservations opened for booking on June 22, 2020. Beginning June 24, 2020, you can make a new vacation package reservation for 2021. (You can read more about the details of 2021 reservations here.) Annual Passholders can book Park Passes beginning June 26, 2020. And all other ticket holders can book Park Passes beginning June 28, 2020.

So, you’ve got your tickets. Next, be sure everything is linked properly in your My Disney Experience account. If you booked your vacation with me, I’ve already taken care of this step for you!

Then, book your Park Passes. Here’s a handy step-by-step how-to video, courtesy of Middle of the Magic Travel:

Now you’re ready to go!

The Park Pass system allows Disney to keep track of how many guests will be visiting on each day, so they can ensure safe physical distancing and comply with other CDC guidelines. Since Park Pass will be in place for the foreseeable future, it’s going to be important to check Park Pass availability before making vacation plans- just one of many free planning services I offer when you book your Disney vacation with me!

I also help every step of the planning process, and can provide personalized recommendations and first-hand advice. My services are completely free when you book with me. That’s right- it costs absolutely nothing to have an experienced travel advisor in your corner! So why spend time trying to plan it all by yourself? Save your valuable time and let me help!
